STANDLEY AQUATIC CENTER

Expanding programs and recreation for local schools and community. In partnership with the City of San Diego, San Diego Unified’s newly constructed aquatic building, pool, pavilion, and jogging path at Standley Middle School are promising to be a new community hotspot.

The new aquatic center constructs an outdoor competition pool (30M x 25yd) and pool amenities building. The building provides outdoor showers, changing rooms, restrooms, concessions, storage and equipment rooms. The shaded outdoor pavilion is a school and community gathering space integrated into the field landscape. The decomposed granite path leads from the aquatic center to the pavilion and around the perimeter of the joint use field.
